Spruce Grove Dog Spot – Rules, Waiver & Release

Spruce Grove Dog Spot is a private, outdoor dog park facility including fenced dog parks, parking areas, and surrounding grounds (the “Facility”).

Weather & Cancellations

The Facility operates rain, snow, or shine.
Cancellations require 24 hours’ notice.

Vaccination & Health Confirmation

By booking and using the Facility, you confirm that all dog(s) you bring:

• Are up to date on all required vaccinations

• Are free of contagious illness or parasites

• Are physically and behaviourally suitable for off-leash activity

Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time.
Spruce Grove Dog Spot reserves the right to deny access or remove any dog that does not meet these requirements, without refund.

Assumption of Outdoor Risk

You acknowledge that the Facility is an outdoor, natural environment and accept all associated risks, including but not limited to:

• Slips, trips, or falls

• Uneven or changing terrain

• Weather exposure

• Natural or forested conditions

These risks apply to you, your dog(s), and any accompanying guests.

Facility Use & Reservations

• Each fenced park is privately reserved for the booking guest only.

• Enter only your assigned park and only during your booked time.

• Exit the park on or before your reservation end time.
   

Gate, Entry & Waiting Protocol

For safety:

• Enter your park from inside your vehicle.

• Secure the gate before releasing your dog(s).

• If the park is occupied or a maintenance sign is posted, remain in your vehicle until access is clear.

• Park only in designated waiting areas. (PAWS & WAIT PARKING AREA)

Parking and entry instructions must be followed at all times.
 

Respect for Other Guests

Do not approach other guests or dogs.
Many dogs using the Facility may be reactive, anxious, or require controlled environments.
 

Monitoring & Clean-Up

• Security cameras are used for safety and compliance monitoring.

• You must clean up after your dog(s) and dispose of waste in provided bins.
   

Responsibility & Supervision

You are solely responsible for:

• Supervising your dog(s) at all times

• Determining whether the Facility is appropriate for your dog(s)

You acknowledge that absolute safety cannot be guaranteed.
 

Waiver, Release & Indemnification

By booking and attending your visit, you:

1. Assume full responsibility for all actions of yourself, your dog(s), and any accompanying persons while using the Facility.

2. Waive and release all claims against Spruce Grove Dog Spot, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and representatives for any injury, loss, damage, death, or expense arising from use of the Facility.

3. Agree to indemnify and hold harmless (a) Crossway Records Inc. O/A Spruce Grove Dog Spot (b) any Spruce Grove Dog Spot employees/volunteers from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses, including third-party claims, resulting from:

   • Your actions

   • Your dog(s)’ actions

   • Actions of any person accompanying you
      

Multiple Attendees & Minors

• Each person attending with you is bound by this waiver.

• Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
   

Acknowledgement 

By booking and attending, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood this Waiver and Release

• Confirm your dog(s) meet all vaccination and health requirements

• Accept all risks associated with using the Facility

• Agree to comply with all Spruce Grove Dog Spot rules and policies
